The Atlas Copco G4 FF (8152103849) is a tank-mounted, oil-injected rotary screw air compressor with a built-in refrigerant dryer, built for professional workshops that need a steady supply of clean, dry compressed air. In an oil-injected screw compressor, two intermeshing rotors (the screw element) compress the air while a small amount of oil seals, cools, and lubricates them, and that oil is separated out again before the air leaves the machine. Mounting the whole package on its own air receiver, the storage tank, gives you a compact, self-contained unit that needs only a power connection and an air outlet to start working.
The FF, or Full Feature, designation means an integrated refrigerant dryer is fitted. This dryer chills the compressed air so that water vapor condenses out and drains away, leaving the air reaching your tools dry rather than damp, which matters for spray painting, pneumatic tools, and any process sensitive to moisture.
